It took just 13 days for the International Court of Justice to organize the hearings and another 13 days to adopt provisional measures. The speed with which the ICJ acted shows the gravity of the situation and the strong presumption of genocide. The ICJ imposed six provisional measures on Israel, ordering it to take all actions aimed at preventing the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, to ensure that the military abide by these regulations, to act against incitement to genocide, to provide urgent humanitarian aid to populations, to preserve all evidence and to provide a report within one month regarding these measures.
