That's the title under which the UN special report on occupied Palestine was presented, concluding: "there are reasonable grounds to believe that the threshold indicating that Israel has committed genocide has been reached".
Genocide!
And the details are damning: Israel destroyed Gaza, more than 30,000 Palestinians killed, including more than 13,000 children; more than 12,000 presumed dead and 71,000 injured, most with lifelong mutilations; 70% of houses destroyed; 80% of the population forcibly displaced; thousands of families lost their members or were completely wiped; many families were unable to bury their dead and mourn, forced to let their bodies decompose in houses, in the streets or under the rubble; thousands of people detained and subjected to inhuman and degrading treatment; an incalculable collective trauma will be felt by future generations.
Genocide, nothing more, nothing less!
People across the world have said their word, several countries have had the courage to say it, many international organizations have affirmed it, the UN has ordered a ceasefire; the boycott movement of Israel is growing, Israel is banned from international society.
